The Backstory
Huge Deal Finder is a state-of-the-art eCommerce website that does affiliate marketing for Amazon and other major online department stores. They have partnered with hundreds of companies to sell and market their products. They have grown exponentially since joing Firsthand Designs and are still our current clients.
The Process
Firsthand Designs and the owner of Huge Deal Finder teamed up on this design to make it outshine any competitor. They are constantly updating their store so customers can always have the newest items first. They are planning on making videos showcasing and reviewing these items, but for now they are doing online advertising to grow their customer base.
We incorporated a pop-up that takes the visitor directly to the affiliate company. This increases conversions by 30% because it offers the visitor something “more.” Which is what every customer expects.
The logo was designed in icon form so it is easy to remember. We made it simple and legible so the customer knows the name of the online store before making a shopping decision. We used blue (#0123a9) as the main color of the logo to contrast with the green (#87cc3f) layout of the website.
Here is what the website looks like on a Apple Mac Retina Display. We rendered the logo in many different sizes to accommodate different screen sizes. It also helps to have different qualities of logos with a variation in DPIs because print requires higher DPIs than digital implementations.
